It was a dream come true being able to clinic with Charles a few years ago after being introduced to him through JJ Tate and my trainer, Laura Roesing. It was 2018 and I’d just healed from breast cancer surgery and wasn’t sure I’d be able to ride. But, ride I did and learned so much that weekend. My heart still melts watching the videos, hearing Charles’ compliments — “superb”, “well done”, and “look at that”. I’ve since lost the horse I rode that weekend, but the memories and learnings will last a lifetime. Thank you, Charles, for giving us your gift.
